Call for artists! Artfor Pride, an exhibition in support of Brighton & Hove Pride, will be held on the weekend of the 31 July at the Brighton Media Centre Gallery on Middle Street. There are still a few spaces left for exhibitors, and we are looking for painters, sculptors, photographers- a great range of styles to contribute to this inspiring and diverse show. If you would like to get involved, or to find out more about Artfor and our exhibitions, please contact becky@artfor.co.uk.

dinner_smallHot Village and Manchester Pride are proud to announce the Manchester Pride Dinner, which will be taking place at The Palace Hotel on Thursday 23 September 2010. Tickets are priced from £45 with all proceeds going to Manchester Pride.

derbyCommittee members of Derby Pride are organizing a fundraising Ball to raise much needed funds needed to host Derby Pride 2010.

 

The first ever Pride Ball will be held on Saturday 8 May at The Stuart Hotel, on London Road, Derby, from 7.30pm. The Glamour and Glitz themed event will be full of style, with a photographer snapping guests as they arrive on the red carpet, and fire-eaters and stilt-walkers entertaining before guests are seated.

Time to go shopping for your outfits as London Pride is fast approaching and it's just been announced that the theme for this year is Painting The Town Ruby Red. This is the colour of the Gay Liberation Front and it's their 40th anniversary this year. It's also the colour of Dorothy's slippers in the Wizard of Oz, which celebrates its anniversary this year as well.

plymouthThe largest Pride festival in Devon and Cornwall is seeking new trustees to oversee and help with the running of the annual event.

 

Plymouth Pride Event has grown over the past four years to be the most successful LGBT festival in the region, last year attracting over 4,000 visitors.
